Beam Analysis Calculator

Solve support reactions, shear force, and bending moment diagrams for statically determinate beams.

Add at least one load and press Compute.

How to use

Set the beam length and pick a support type — simply supported (pin + roller) or cantilever (fixed at the left end). Add one or more loads with the Add load button: point loads need a position and magnitude, distributed loads need a start, an end, and an intensity. Press Compute to solve the static equilibrium (ΣF = 0, ΣM = 0) and plot the shear force diagram (SFD) and bending moment diagram (BMD) along the span. Read the support reactions, the maximum bending moment with its location, and the maximum shear — export the full trace for your records.

Based on standard Euler-Bernoulli beam theory and static equilibrium equations.
